I feel you. Maybe there will be an realization arch? Yk, the event where the mc realized this is real and they're living things with emotions. I hope there is but i also don't like it 'cuz it's so cliche.
In chapter 2 or 3 it already stated that she thinks of them as real people. So its unlikely there would be an arc.
She does see them as novel characters because there from a novel she’s reading but now she’s in the novel
Hmm? She's living pretty normal. It's more like she knew bits of the novel's story and she view Chloe as a lady so she tries to 'help' her. She already realized that things isn't going according to what she knew since the original novel discontinued so there' bound to be huge plot holes that existed.

Don't get me wrong I love the story and characters but it feels as if the protagonist thinks of them of characters of a novel instead of actual people with feelings apart from the novel. Like bruh they are a living human being with many thoughts and and emotions just like you do.
