The MC is so stupid it's literally painful to read. She can't tell the difference between love and pity for a guy she's not dating with her boyfriend a room away? I understand that shoujos sell the fantasy of plain, imperfect girls winning over perfect guys, but there should be a limit to how forgiving the male lead can be to the MC's ridiculous, inane actions.
Not to mention, she cried literally every chapter about something pointless, resolved not to cry anymore, and then would cry again a few pages later. So much back and forth with this girl I couldn't take it! I'm all for a sweet love story, but I hate these mangas where only the male's character develops. If he can become more loving/expressive over time, why can't she learn how to assess a situation better? Ugh! ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
