Oh it is Ottoman empire in fictional way. Some of the characters are real like Hürrem Sultan. She is one of the most powerful women in Ottoman and her daughter Mihrimah too. But the story focuses on different woman i guess. I didn't hear the female lead's name from history so not an important person i guess. I don't want to read when Hurrem is not the female lead.
