I know right!!! When Suwa got the picture of him and the fl with their children, I just don't want to imagine what he felt. Knowing that he won't experience a marriage and having children with the fl, just ahhh. I love Kakeru, i really do, but you know i wonder if maybe the fl finds the picture, will she see things differently for Suwa?
yeah, right? I feel like it would have been a much better ending if they saved Kakeru and Suwa would still not have shown her the picture because he felt it was the right thing to do and because he believed Kakeru was the right one for Naho but after dating for some time they would break up because their too timid for each other. They'd still stay close friends and Naho would realize how much happier she's when she's together with Suwa.
The end would be just like in the original timeline but Kakeru would still be around as a part of their group. It just doesn't sit with me after her saying that she'd still marry Suwa even if Kakeru was still alive.
I read this manga a while ago and recently finished the anime. It was beautiful, especially if you're struggling with depression yourself. But the ending... We know she marries Kakeru in the future and I wish for both to be happy, but I'm so sad that she didn't end up marrying Susa like in the original timeline. It would have been such a nice twist...He even said she wouldn't have married him if Kakeru was alive. I wish Naho would have proven him wrong. The whole purpose was to save Kakeru and they could have achieved that without making them to marry each other. I just feel so Sorry for Susa. He was such a good friend who wanted the best for everyone except himself. I wish he could have gotten her in the end. He really deserved it.
