i don’t think any of you are understanding that Kuroko doesn’t want to shine. he’s not meant to be in the spotlight. he wants to play a game of basketball in which his teammates rely on each other !!!!!he doesn’t want to be the #1 player. he wants to help his team and make SOMEONE ELSE shine. he wants to help them be at their up most potential. he said so himself, he’s a shadow, and he’s okay with that. because he wants to stand by the light forever he’s okay with being the shadow. as long as he can play the type of basketball he likes.
