Ha, the live action of this walked so live action's like "Mood Indigo", "Double Mints", "No touching at all" could run. You can really see the progress that's been made in trying to adapt bl manga with it's absurd tropes into a "real" drama. The direction for the live action just plays too well to what already was an silly manga as opposed to adapting it into "real" characters. It's more like a comedy anime, but the cartoons are replaced with people. It highlights the difficulty maybe that directors had in trying to adapt. The hairstyles though are a touch of nostalgia and cringe, maybe in 10 years time koreaboo's will look back at the "idol" pastel bowl cuts with the same sentiments (⌒▽⌒)
