I think they captured his son(Benjamin) and his son is literally more important then him so I guess that’s why his code name is ‘Dear Benjamin’
Remember the letters in the beginning of the f the story that Isaac use to write to Benjamin when he stayed with his grandma. So I think the code name means that they know that Isaac has a son
