well, as far as i know, a fujoshi is any girl that is a fan of BL, not necessarily a japanese one (there's also "fudanshi" for boys and "fujin" for gender neutral). but if i am incorrect then someone please let me know
fujoshi is a japanese word used to describe a woman who supports gay men. people who westernized the word made it weird.
