I just feel so so fucking bad for Hwi, the poor guy really is trying his best and being open w Param. Yes, he knows Param's situation, but that just EMPHASIZES the amount of courage it took him to risk it and ask Param out. He, unlike Han, didn't pressure him to say yes to the date- he made it simple and easy for Param to say 'no' if he wanted to. Thats what pisses me off about Param, because he never took a second to think of anyone else's feelings but his own.
Hwi took a long shot asking Param out, and all I can think of is how ecstatic he was when Param agreed to go on a date with him. He probably didn't expect much, and Param let him hold that hope for a while before he shat all over it, because he's a dickwad. He literally just led Hwi on.
