Plus in most cultures women don't count. Only the males do since the women r going to marry and change their last name. Only in situations where there are no male heirs do the women get to inherit

I have one question. The younger sister of the main story, is she apart of the tradition? She appears more disgusted with the tradition then against her brothers marriage so, if she is apart of the tradition does that mean she has to get married by force too? I mean think about it. She's the third heir in line to the main family right? So that means that if something horrible happened to her eldest brother and his whole family then she would be the one who's husband would take over not the pair in the story. Or would they be forced apart? Really the story is wonderful but I'm sensing plot holes.
