So in the Cupid story, he was amazing rival like he’s a nice charismatic popular fine person who knows what he wants him and main lead are like two sides on a coin, and in the story he signed up to be just a compassionate straight friend because male friendship, at the end we would assume he might be questioning his sexuality I wish for the story they were just transparent how he might’ve realize sexuality though ao relationship or just been attracted to him and seen a more gradual transition of him falling for his childhood friend I understand their highschoolers but still something about him gaslighting him to think that he always liked him, which was not true they could’ve just had a cute arc where he talked about crushing on ao and then realizing that the one he wants to be with his childhood friend, it just would be more authentic
That shit scary as fuck, bro I don’t understand I do because the author sucks at writing characters, but I feel like you’re slightly realistic in the sense of he did not expect that reaction from him so it might work out in his favor
