I found this story really heartbreaking. Bum and Sangwoo had terrible childhoods and were left broken and damaged by the people that should’ve loved and protected them. They were both victims robbed of affection and understanding. I think in a twisted and dark way they kind of got whar they needed from the other. but it was never a healthy relationship of mutual respect, consideration and love (shipping them is weird). It was a violent, abusive codependent relationship born out of unresolved unrecognized trauma. This is not a love story. I’m not really sure what the author was trying to say writing this story, but its characters linger in your mind. I cared about and pittied both characters. Because society overlooked them and all they were suffering(physical abuse and cruel psychological torture) , and sang woo and bum’s pain manifested into violent murder and obsessive stalking. They were both victims.
thank you finally someone agrees, i do not agree with what Sangwoo did or Bum but they both deserved better. They both deserved to have the help they needed in life before they got to this stage of abuse, murder and violence. What they did was wrong but they both never deserved to go through what they went through in their past.
