Depends on the yaoi you read, for smut it can get repetitive but there’s tons that have good scenes but aren’t all about doing the deed! I don’t generalize genres, if a plot is bad it’s bad just like with this one, but it all depends on the reader. Reading stuff like this is like watching p o r n, there’s only one reason to actually read it and the plot ain’t it lmao!
