The more it goes on the more sad it gets I hope theres at least a side story where theyre able to meet in the present and somehow rekindle their friendship.
So I really don’t remember much about this story but I’ll summarize it the best I can. It’s an Isekai game-like system manhwa with one of those “badass” mcs. Bet you haven’t seen one of those before lol.
Anyway, the beginning starts off with the mc living in the underworld for thousands of years, and eventually goes into the human world where he’s originally from to get away from his doting demon followers. He also has a very powerful skill that no one else can see when looking at his status. He gathers teammates for his dungeon raids and I remember specifically the first one to join is a bulky tank type character thats calls him something like “brother”. After a few more people join, he more or less trains them to become more powerful by pointing out their flaws with his keen observation skills. There’s also this side plot with a cult that worships demons/the mc unknowingly, but thats most of what I remember.

God I’m such a sucker for romance stories like this. The atmosphere and simple art style are so comforting but when it needs to deliver emotional moments it comes through with the mature writing. I like how they handled the exes as there are a lot of bl where they write off ex parters as toxic in a one sided way. But sometimes people just grow apart because of differences in beliefs, with no ill will. It’s really touching that even though the mcs loved these people, they can understand them and their circumstances because the mcs are written like adults and not teenagers with relationship drama. I’m sensing that this is a story that will have few chapters but its really enjoyable so far!
