You guys don’t get it. This is an extremely realistic ending for this story. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean that the isn’t good, it just means the author didn’t romanticize an obviously dangerous situation. The second he locked her in a room, any “happy ending” would have forced us to overlook the abuse of it. I love a good obsession story, but it’s not realistic. This is though.
