It's been ten years since I read this and I remember loving it back then but re-reading this now is wild. I hate the dark tones it takes at the end, like we don't need the SA ffs I hate that so many works contain it
I came back and re read it again as well and I don't remember it being this dark either… author just kept throwing trauma after trauma and was like “oop, its okay they be fine” and I kind of hate how it was jariem chasing Yuri the whole time… like it was ONCE after having to be told to go back seeing your boyfriend crying… didn't even question it after everything…

Bro same. This used to be my bl bible back in the day, and now re-reading this a decade later makes me think "why are all these characters so unlikeable? And why is there just casual SA every other chapter? This feels so incomplete!!". Younger me definitely had rose tinted glasses on while reading this, because now it's so ass I did like the initial bit though where jaerim and yuri hated each other but god I cannot digest all this casual bullying makes me feel so bad at how superficial these characters are :(
