In my head i convinced myself that the uncle and niece couple where pseudo incest like his deceased wife was actually carins blood aunt. Anyways the main couple where terrible the ML was absolutely HORRIBLE like I stay away from toxic ML cus they make me to angry and the only reason I even finished this was because it was so short AND I THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA BECOME GOOD BUT I GET TO CHAPTER 36 AND IM SWEATING.

But also I feel like this is such a good book where there clearly show just how far men will go to ruin a girls life because of their greed.
