if the author needs quick money why not just release a bunch of fluff side stories, just show us them running the bakery , maybe a flirty customer for some little drama. All this angst seems so pointless. OR just release a new BL , literally everyone wouldve tuned in because of the success of CBAW and they couldve dragged that bl out for 4-5 years. I just dont understand the thought process.
This is probably the most realistic depiction of how it feels to be gay especially while growing up. Negative feelings like resentment towards your straight friends and their troubles is something so common but I feel like is rarely brought up in the bl genre. I will always love the silly, corny and completely unrealistic bls but this really made me feel something so real and raw. I wish it was even longer. Its also a bit depressing in the beginning as a warning to other readers haha seriously i felt like crying.

I finally read this infamous bl and im honestly just confused, both of the leads seem like just unrealistic characters even for a bl. The ending felt soooo rushed and random, plus how did that creep even manage to get into the penthouse of a building which I assume has high level security ? The second couple are SO SO SO much more interesting and felt like layered characters from like the 3 chapters we saw. I wish we could see both couples being more happy in the side stories but overall this just felt like a typical toxic bl with an abrupt ending.
