It's not a bad story idea or pacing that puts me off, it's the expectation that she has to marry the crown prince and be a daughter in law, she gets no say and is expected to just smile and be happy.
I think this story may have been influenced by the SCP foundation, super interesting btw.

Hello, it's kinda of like Creepypastas, i suggest starting in the newbies section to understand but basically its a fandom that creates stories and you can start any where on any story, or even write your own, it's pretty fun.
The reason I said it was like SCP foundation is because it uses the same terminology and levels to describe anomalies and ranks.
