I'm on chapter 36 and the number of stupid fucking things that the lawyer does is really grinding my gears right now. Holy fuck he's so fucking stupid. Like loudly announcing that he's gay and kinky in random places, in front of an assistant and fucking restaurant waiters and shit. And then not cashing the cheque when he first gets it, and then telling his brother about it, and then wagging it around in front of his brother's face. Like holy fuck, how did he not assume the brother was going to destroy it? It's because he's fucking stupid!! UGHHHHH!!!!
Yeah, I’m right there with you. Hr was sold as this sharp lawyer scooped up straight out of law school by the top firm in the country, so you go in expecting somebody slick, articulate, and charismatic… and instead you get an emotional toddler with zero impulse control and a face that just begs to be punched. I’m trying to push through and finish this, but I keep having to stop because I literally cannot stand this MC.
He does get better kind of? He's not quite as insufferable at least. All the business talk was kind of heavy though and a bit tricky to understand. I did manage to finish it though and I thought the ending was good.
The anatomy is... questionable, but the story is great, and the art is mostly awesome!
