im genuinely confused, so the orig owner of the body mc is currently using is dead right? and currently there some sort of backstory between him and the ml but the mc just possessed the body just recently so how come the mc have a memory of him and the ml from 15 years ago using the body he posses. Shouldn't that memories from the orig owner of the body
The flashbacks we seeing is from when WWX (Mc) was still in his original body, it can be confusing because WWX and Mo xuanyu made to look really similar in the ManHua and the animation. It’s a weird choice honestly.
In the novel they are really different and MXY looks more like his half brothers than he does WWX.
But yeah, the flashbacks that we seeing are of WWX time in CR when he was 15. He and Lan wangji are the same age (34 by the end of the novel)
While the body WWX was forced into is a 27 years old (so doing the math WWX couldn’t see MXY memories here)
