I get why people view the Townspeople as ungrateful but humans will do as humans do and place their personal relationships above many things and seeing how Guwon has killed many people, including one on screen for a townsperson and the implied murk of that little boy’s group in the city because of all the blood why would people unquestioningly follow someone who shows no regard or guilt for human life? In universe, if that little boy Teach teaches in town grows up is it not silly to think he might not want to roll over and accept that his dad got his beat to death like a dog cause he gave him extra medicine to live? Also, to leave the town would mean giving up a fortified area to go to areas that still have supplies which seem to constantly have the hounds roaming around who also shoot or bludgeon indiscriminately.

Do not buy with or engage with Kaizen, Mythtoons, or Desire Scans (the only ones I’ve seen so far) on their own websites, they’re low effort AI scanners running scams who upload over real teams or individuals without a care in the world as they shamelessly mess up formatting for manhwas. I say this in every story I see with them now but it’s upsetting; stop shamelessly outsourcing effort to a machine to make a quick buck on here from some people.

I’ve wasted I can’t even imagine how many hours reading this over the past 6 years and I really like Jae, so I’ll keep reading, but what is even the point of a flash back? Everyone is already dead and they’re wasting time on fights with characters who don’t matter when they should just cut the crap and give some of the lore they’ve been droning on about expositing; half of this current arc won’t even be in one of the long flashback panels they do for pages of exposition later on. The scaling for this series is insane, imagine early Lookism James Lee meeting current James Lee, it’s so disconnected from its roots. This bloated cast makes everything so uninteresting or confusing; how do One Piece fans manage to remember all their characters?

I hadn’t heard of them until like 2 weeks ago and now they’re uploading over everything and running AI scams; don’t buy from them.

Sarang and Jinwon are some stand out characters from a lot of the “high school bullying goes wrong stories” on the market and some of my favorite characters of the year so far. I like how different they outwardly express themselves and their desire to achieve their goals no matter what, juxtaposing them against characters like Subin who try so hard to be on their level of calculating and mania is great too. I hope the story continues to explore how one’s own desires make them do irrational things that end up hurting them the most, so far, the boy with the crush on Sarang has been festering so his blow up will be exciting; especially if it’s laid out why his crush on Subin fizzled out but stays so strong for Sarang, is it her being truly “crazy” or something more?

Kind of sad I found this story before it was done because I binged the current 30 chapters so quickly.
