I read this manga after seeing a lot of people recommending it, but all I got was confusion.
NUH-UH. I always knew Eclis was not it. In Penelope's words, it's like she adopted a dog from the streets but ended up having rabies. Could kill her.
I was into pining and similar stuffs like that, and I saw Skip Beat in a Reddit comment under recommendations, so I thought I should give it a try as long as the art style doesn't threw me off.
The thing is, I didn't even checked the title page. I just clicked read now and didn't even read the summary. I'm in Chapter 290 when I realized, "Wait a minute, is this manga completed already?". BRUH IT IS NOT
I don't understand why a 2002 manga is still ongoing up to this date. I did not ask for a slow burn story to be THIS slow.
I was invested in the anime, and decided to give the manga a try. I also wanted to see how things are after Titus' resurrection. It took me years before I get to do this.
I didn't expect it to be like this. At first, I was interested. Hakuryuu killed his mom, Sinbad was a bad guy, etc. But the last arc was all over the place. Sinbad, David, Ugo, Arba, the concept of singularity and sacred place, and the rukh was too much for me to handle.
I feel like there's no real resolution even after the last chapter. I also feel that it was rushed. We didn't even saw a glimpse of what happened after all that chaos (though rebuilding was mentioned, but is that all?).
