Bj Alex is a garbage as compared to a lot of Mangas actually and I have noticed that people tend to like manhwas more almost always since they have color and good art and won't care much about the story.Which is very sad.

Yeah and what I hate the most about bj Alex is that the manhwa would have been better if it had an element of phychological story but instead they make all that crap storyline into wholesome theme which is so stupid.Both characters appear so stupid.It has a baseless smut story with sex scenes thrown here and there.
I liked painter of the night in the beginning cause all the shit that happens in it is actually possible since in those times nobles could literally do any shit to commoners and get away with it.It also is bringing on the issue of how nakyum is just suffering from Stockholm syndrome and what he feels for the seme is not love.
I hate how almost all manhwas have a trope where they fthe seme falls for uke cause he's cut and innocent and stupidly kind while the uke keeps simping over the semes good looks while all that the seme has ever done is tortuse him emotionally and physically.

facts. many bl manhwas are so overhyped and cannot even offer even a quarter of the glory of many bl mangas. readers are all about pretty art and color. sad.

I understand that yall prefer mangas and all but bashing other people preferences and totally discrediting an authors work and calling it trash is kinda rude. generalizing and saying that people just love it for the art is immature and petty as well. I love all mangas manhwas and manhuas and i have no bias and i can strongly say they all have their pros and cons but im not gonna trash peoples’ work or preferences.
there is a BIG difference on down right hating and having an opinion.

Two people who don't like that mahwa are sharing their opinions if you do like it nobody asked you to not.We didn't drag you in this conversation and tell you how you should too hate bj Alex.We don't like it and so we say the same.Movies,books and tv shows are also criticised,if anything is available on a public platform then it can be critisized and it will be.pls try and not take it upon yourself to "protect the honour" of your favourite manhwas cause it only makes you look like a clown.If you are still bothered you could always contact the people at mangago to mute comments and rating of "your" favourite Mangas/manhwas so you'll never have to see the flaws in them.If you had presented an argument that might have changed my opinion of the plot or would have highlighted something in the story whose brilliance I had overlook that would be a different case.

I am sorry to dissapoint you but I can't possibly "LOVE ALL MANGA AND MANHWAS" no matter how stupid and uninteresting their storyline may be. And it's not like I commented on any page that the author viewed in order to purposedly make them feel miserable and if I had actually been paying for this I would infact critisize it all the same(not calling it complete trash but along those lines in a more subtle way maybe)because as a reader I should critisize the manhwa I read for any of its flaws and praise it for everything nice in it sothe author through the feedback gets a chance to improve on some aspects of their work to make greater masterpeices if they so wish to do.

calling something garbage or trash is not an opinion it's insulting and very rude period and hateful just say you don't like it and go what even was the point to even bring up another authors work on something that has nothing to do it with it

there are comics that are downright horrible. especially those that condone cheating, support pedophilia and all that. so i dont think it's possible to love "all" still (at least for me). what i made wasn't a generalized statement saying ALL readers love many comics for the art (similar to "men are trash statement" which is not actually aimed at all men). but i dont think we can deny that many readers do focus more on the art. and i think it's sad that many others are left out because of it. but everyone is free to like what they like and it's just my personal thought/wish for readers to appreciate stories more. likewise people can criticize what they don't like, though i agree trash is too much of a word to use

I do feel bad that I called it garbage I guess swept along the original commenter's comment but even they mentioned how they liked it but honestly te storyline m,character development aren't up to par with the art that mesmerises the reader.I donot know how you read the comments but I donot HATE the author at all and I don't hate the story as much as you are imagining me to.i have read romance yaoi and it isn't a good romance yaoi(actually it doesn't feel like a romance yaoi at all)I have read smut based yaoi and it isn't all that great in that department either.I don't really care that much about the author that they are the person to come to my mind when you mention a manhwa what does come to mind is that overhyped fictional story I didn't like as much.I don't even know the name of the author and I thought at least that is how most of the people are. I don't look at romancised rape and then remember that"well they must have worked hard to make the manga so I guess romanticism of rape is ok?"
I won't call a bad movie good cause the actors worked hard despite being bad actors,the story writer worked hard despite it being a bad story nd so on.
I don't catagorise the works that I read as this and that author I catagorise them under the tag yaoi and I compare the books I read and I analayse how good it is when I complete reading it and then I dicuss it with people like me who also read it which doesnot include the author because I am not a renowned critique.i certainly didn't expect my thoughts on a manhwa would make its fans feel attacked because I certainly didn't post my comment on bj Alex fan page.

That is actually what I mentioned it has an air of fluff and wholesome manga around it but when I ponder over the plot I don't think so.If it was pshycological manhwa and had some of its story altered it would have made much more sense and I would have liked it a lot then.The redemption by Alex and why dg loves Alex in the first place makes little sense to me.i have read relly messed up Mangas by harada as well but why do I not hate it when they romantice the rape?Because it romantancises it while also showing how fucked up it is to do the same.Condoning an act and simply throwing light on pshycological crimes, getting into the head of the victim and abuser are two different things which are made different by the author's dipiction of the story.

Because I specifically said rape is never okay no matter what. even at times, some psychological horror ones bc they romanticize the action as well. so i do not get why you are trying to say the difference depicting it bc no one is disagreeing on that.. like we all agree, so what r u trying to say..?

grow up, people. you can literally state opinions without being rude and condescending. and mention the chapter where the rape scene happened for us to be able to critically analyze it. and to decide whether the definition of rape applies on the scenario.

all i expected in this comment section is the comments complimenting the author, the manga, and how beautiful the other works are. here you go, spreading hate when not of it is necessary.

Well all I was trying to say is some Mangas romantacise rape (which are usually fluff and wholesome Mangas) while rest actually criminalise it and show the consequences on both victim and abuser and also what stems such actions(mostly in phychological Mangas).

okay so i reread it because i had no idea what you were talking about, and i really think you should reread it because thats not what happened. md gives alex toys. alex gets jealous bc of dg and md. dg gives consent to doing the toys. dg likes it at first but later says stop. alex never shoves his dick and and looks at dg and stops bc he realized it was hurting him.
from the way i interpreted the story, dg was infatuated with alex, but later falls rlly inlove with him after alex’s character development.
alex uses dg for sex first (it was consensual) but had no emotion. dg didnt want to do it anymore and cut it off.
alex changes for dg to win him back bc he realized how wrong he was n realizes he actually loves dg (alex’s childhood).

However when I read it (i read it in korean bc its easier for me) the wording was diff and i did not interpret it that way. Im not saying what alex did was right. he was wrong PERIOD. Yeah I had to reread that part too and I didn't remember it well but it did give me rapey vibes and I didn't like how he treated Dg and the redmeption arc was too smol,me no like it. I just don't like it as much as many other people do.The way everyone here is thinking of how I have really malicious intend towards the author and the manhwa makes me really confused.I have a reason to not like it but even if I didn't have any reason to not like it I could just not like it.I didnot make a comment on someone praising bj Alex to change their opinion just found someone who also didn't like bj Alex much(NOT AT ALL).

It's not really romanticism of rape I guess? I don't really know what that is by defination anyway but it's how something like this happens and none of characters think much of it and the story goes on overlooking this "smol incident" for the creation of a greater couple.
