The comments keep bothering me for some reason but in his hand is not a needle but a small tube which should still be removed either way, it’s a small flexible tube that having it on doesn't really give off any pain unless the tube isn’t right for your vein. I’m not saying he should keep it on because that much movement would literally just be death to the vein, meaning it would get extremely irritated and just hurt as well as throb
