Idk this is my opinion but I don’t think mental illness is an excuse? Like yeah Woo won wanted to stop because he was worried abt Seo an but in the first place he didn’t want to have sex and Seo an told him to hurry and get erect. He still forced himself on top of Woo won and disregarded his words. Many people in relationships dont want to acknowledge that they are being rape/have been raped. Just bc Woo won wont acknowledge it doesn’t mean it isnt rape.

We aren’t Woo won and we arent in an intimate relationship with Seo an so our minds should be clear enough to understand that it is still rape. The only reason why Woo won wont acknowledge it is because he loves Seo an and he can overlook it.

He would throw her around, leave bruises, break glass on her. And one day she had enough, she got all the photos of her injuries made by him and took it to court. She was going to put him away for domestic violence. But guess what. She dropped the charges, and you wanna know why? Because she “loved him” Love makes you crazy and sometimes it makes you endure things that you shouldn’t.
