I haven't even finished reading it, bUT MR. MILLER WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO INTERFIERE?! "I know I have no right to-" THEN DON'T!!! DON'T. SAY. ANYTHING!!! LET ERNA THINK ABOUT THINGS HERSELF!
I AM sick of everyone meddling without 1) trying to understand things from Erna's perspective and 2) without understanding that Bjorn is to blame and it is also HIS responsibility alone to figure things out and better things (if that's even possible). I am SICK of everyone just trying to persuade Erna or talking to her as if it's her job to forgive the man for a situation HE created just because he is a little sick. It feels like Erna has no one who actually empathizes with her feelings and situation, only her maid maybe but even her doesn't know the full extent of everything. Everyone else is giving Bjorn too much grace for no reason, they don't even know the full story nor why things are happening this way. My blood is boiling.
I was getting teary-eyed but still managing until the child appeared and hugged him. I lost it, I can't stop crying now. Whatever you may feel against Bjorn, please put it aside for a moment.
This was a beautiful chapter. Not only hearing his honest and deepest thoughts, but understanding that the man who was raised to be perfect chose the least emotional way to deal with his own feelings, to the extent he couldn't and didn't want to sympathize with the mother of his (now gone) unborn child. But he was aware, is aware, of how much damage that inflicted on him and how much more terrible the entire ordeal was for Erna who didn't have anyone to grieve with. He was raised to deal with everything himself and expected Erna to act the same way. I can understand his POV better and I'm glad he not only come to terms with it himself but that he's finally understood that the only way to try and fix Erna's wounds (which he inflicted himself) is to be sincere and acknowledge her feelings, something he himself had never done before. I think that is beautiful.
Disclaimer, I'm not saying he should be forgiven, that he is right, or that this negates everything that he did or said. Not at all. I'm saying that we can acknowledge how meaningful and beautiful this exploration of his feelings, as a character, is. It's rare to find stories that do such a good job exploring human relationships and their character.
Does anyone know what KR fans are saying about it?? If the author has said anything at all about the backlash?? I don't want to check social media bc I don't want to see any convos about this series (I don't want to spoil myself. Not because I want to read it but because it genuinely distresses me so much seeing what's happening and mentally I can't deal with this right now).
I'm just curious because it seems the author is introducing another couple, as if to mitigate the hate/backlash she's getting but things are still a mess up to that point...

I come to reread the side stories every now and then, main story just stresses me out lol. Any recommendations for series with obsessive and very possessive top x self-aware bottom that is okay with it or even obsessive and possessive about his top himself? More so if they're loving and cuddly like them ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
