i literally have a list of isekai/slow life mangas so i’ve read A LOT of mangas with similar plots and cliches but this is the worst one i’ve ever read so far. why are we just forgiving the god?? no repercussions for making her go through all that abuse, basically making her life a living hell???
and she just readily joins the duke’s family??? i’d argue she was coerced. he suddenly brings his family over (no warning btw) and they basically love bomb her and THEN she coincidentally goes through something traumatic (killing her bear friend) which only makes her rely on the duke’s family more for emotional support. i stopped after ch4 because it was just so bad.
also having a three year timeskip within like the first few chapters??? the pacing is horrible and the mc sucks. not to mention blushing when she saw her adoptive brother in the carriage?? i can smell the inc3st/p3do plot a mile away.
everyone’s complaining abt the brother but i think the ml is worse, like objectively speaking.
sure, bc it’s yaoi it’s silly and goofy and nothing went wrong but if you think abt it: ml forced a one-sided marriage onto the mc, forced himself onto mc during their first night, manipulated him using his face/body, TURNED HIM INTO AN OMEGA USING DRUGS like??
i can already see the future plot, they’re probably gonna turn the brother into the villain by saying that he caused the mc’s family’s downfall. i’m calling it rn. mc is probably gonna forgive ml for the whole drug thing and is probably gonna APOLOGIZE for not “reassuring him” or “hurting his feelings” sighh.
yeahh and i kindd of hate that abel hates his half sibling as if its his fault their parent wasnt loyal

No chance. I don't think I have ever seen a story like this where the ML wasn't the most politically powerful in the story.

I mean, I agree. Shin is not only the more realistic but objectively better choice. But I have never seen that pattern break. The ML has to go with the most politically powerful option, no matter how irrational it is or how many loops the author has to jump through to make it happen.
I hope this story is an exception. It probably won't be.

i really don’t like how all the kids (the girls) are romantically interested in him, i thought the kids would end up being each other’s romantic interests. i really hope they end up falling for someone else bc i have a feeling it’s gonna turn into a real problem if the mc himself ends up rejecting them
