I don't think the uke always gives in, he tells the seme off for being selfish and finds ways to compromise for what they BOTH want. He's literally trying to find ways to make sure they can both still be together without actually being together because he still wants to live where he is right now. If the uke doesn't give in a little, considering a full international move then there's no healthy relationship between the two since they wouldn't find a compromise. I do agree the same is selfish, but he has grown to realize that he can't always get his way and pin the uke down. This is literally the most healthiest development the two have. They do communicate.
