Eh, this series is not that great. I don't feel that way because of the reasons everyone else brought up (although, they are valid), I just feel that there really wasn't any strong aspects to this series at all. It's just so badly done that it isn't worth the energy to hate it so much. The characters are really badly done. The author wants to give the appearance of growth, but none of the characters really change based on their personalities, they just stand as things happen to them. They don't change at all, nor were they good characters to begin with. I just don't like this manga. It's anti-climatic and nothing of note happens, which is about the worst you can do when writing a story. Just not worth your time. :/
3 AM Dangerous Zone
Some of the best art I've seen in a long time. I like it, plain and simple. I keep going back and forth in my head whether or not to give this five or four stars, but I guess every series could use a win at some-point.... an excellent, strange, short read. Just good times with realistic portrayals of almost-adult feelings and attitudes.
27-ji Ni Koi Wo Sasayaite
If I could give a 2.5 I would. The writing isn't bad for this collection, it's just not enough, especially with the fan translated errors holding it back. Part of the problem lies with the stories themselves being more or less the same... seme and uke both work at a company together then one or both get drunk and they have sex. This wasn't bad for the first few stories, but after a while you come to expect the same types of personalities and situations... and even the sex scenes start to seem similar too. I wanted to like it, (I did really like the bar-based story because it didn't take place in a design company) but, for the most part, I didn't feel very much reading this collection.

Maybe a 2.5 for this title? I'm not sure how to score it... It has beautiful art for sure. It reminds me of the now retired visual novel company, Little Witch. The subject matter was alright for the one-shot and the subtle feelings it provoked were lovely. However, it the nicest way possible, this story wasn't really anything but cotton candy... it was sweet but dissolved before I could really experience much of it. Perhaps I'd feel different if it were longer.
24 Colors - Hatsukoi No Palette
I'd probably give it a 2.5 if I could, but I can't, so I guess it gets a limbo 3. There wasn't anything technically wrong with this very short series. They art was serviceable and the translation didn't suffer from any serious mishaps. I guess my only gripe would be with the pacing and the fact that the writing wasn't good enough to warrant a higher score.

A watered-down, bland story. Switches main female characters halfway through for really no reason, especially since it had established no real characteristics of either other than their mutual love of the equally flat male character. It's just... not worth your time.
20th Century Boys
This series holds a special place in my heart as my first exposure to Noaki Urasawa, who remains today my favorite mangaka. Strictly speaking, his manga is top notch. All of it. While my personal favorite is Pluto, which is getting an anime adaptation soon, 20th Century Boys comes in at a close second. The only issues I have with this series is the fact that time skips are used too frequently and for not good enough reasons.
2001 Seconds Time Trap
You see these types of stories all the time. They pop up all the time, especially around comiket. They're not designed to be anything other than a short story or an exhibition of one's own skills. Thus, I don't particularly care for them. They serve an important purpose, and, sometimes, good stories come out of the drive to create for the sake of creating, but, in this case, I'm not seeing that.
2001 Nights
Essentially, the Twilight Zone meets interstellar travel. Incredibly good when you get down to it, but definitely takes a bit to get there. At first, things seem detached and arbitrary, but it ends feeling like things have definitely mattered over the course of the series; though, they definitely could have mattered more. It's not quite worth five stars due to the large amounts of expository text, which make sense given the context of the series but still take away from the enjoyment of the plot.
