I dunno if anyone has addressed this but some readers really screams of misogyny when they drop a manhwa because there is a girl. I don't mean everyone because there are really some annoying female characters inserted just to play the damsel in distress so the mc would look more heroic or "manly"
I drop if female is so much annoying and making trouble if she is strong and powerful one it doesn't make me drop story especially I m talking about fighting stories .
Well, this take is obviously not for you because honestly, same, I drop stories too with annoying female leads and unnecessary harem. I'm talking about those who drop at the sight of a female. Most of the times, those females aren't even "weak" or "annoying" as they dub them to be. Calling them whiny or a bitch just for actually acting like a normal human being like crying is just soo damn weird.
Well I m not sure why people say it but if they are girls or women can accept that they just want to see men in story rather than female this site is full of men loving people so you will come across many people like that i wouldn't call it mysogynistic i myself also read for male but if female is good and has good character i don't hate it much ... but i also happen to drop some later on .
Idk what's it about the seme that i just find icky. He's freaking handsome and it's not like I'm the one to shy away from questionable tops but with him, there's just really something off
