Why many people criticize the art of the story.
Sure it's not as beautiful as "who made me a princess" but it has his charm, and the story is not boring. (Go read the 1st chapter of snk, the art was ugly but leveled up on the last chapters)

Sadly some of this authors work does get cut short or discontinued, but usually the reason is because the publishers deem that there is a lack of popularity, The authors work is kinda niche so it's no surprise. Gakuen alice was a really lucky hit for them.
Um what yeah gakuen Alice is great but this mangaka literally know for M to N no Shouzou before gakuen Alice is a thing so to said Gakuen Alice is a lucky hit for them wasn’t it
sorry if that came off wrong what I meant by GA as being a lucky hit was how its popularity blew up enough for it to get an anime and and become a long 30 vol + series I also originally knew the artist from swan lake and M&N so I was sad that none of those became more well known.
