Ok so tell me if I understood right, Ra was pregnant and basically gave birth to a new god (Anubis) but then Osiris gave him life and told him to not get sidetracked again??? To my understanding Anubis was to be born from Ra, so why is Osiris "taking" his life and then giving it to him again?
Look at the end of the first few chapters for the family tree firstly maybe you're confused there. Then upon looking then come back to this question. Then you need to understand that Anubis isn't actually Seth's son but Osiris's son and that is explained somewhere in chapters 40-50. Seth raised Anubis yes but biologically in this story Anubis is the son of Osiris. Ra gave birth to the top few gods you see in the family tree. Not to Anubis in this story. Tbh, I can't explain much since I'm writing this at two am but just reread the story from chapters 35 onwards and maybe you'll understand. However, to my knowledge, they haven't revealed what it was Anubis was getting "sidetracked" about.
