Altho I know that these types of webtoons are supposed to be light-hearted and cute romance but I completely disagree with the CEO's decision not to include the father in Will's life.
It wasn't the father's fault, he clearly loved the mom and was living in regret, and would've truly been a wonderful father. He's a man who even turned his back on his family for his love. Yes, the uncle lovingly raised Will but I believe he should've had his real father in his life; that was not the uncle's decision to make.
He decided that out of his selfishness and hurt from the past rather than thinking about Will's future or what Will would want. Instead he only allowed the father to see him ONCE. ONLY ONCE. How cruel. My heart broke for both of them, and for what could've been the father's redemption and the child's chance at knowing that his father truly loved him and his mom; that's honestly what ruined the story for me. I felt nothing at the marriage scene and dissatisfaction at the ending scene-- I wasn't able to enjoy the romance and finished the webtoon with sorrow instead of happiness.
I think that for him staying with the son should have helped him , and for the son to know who the real father is. after respected the decision of the ML after thinking
that he was the one who witnesses every moment her sister suffered and died and as an uncle, he those everything to make the child happy; because the child is the thing that her sister left luckily sister didn't follow his decision of abortion; if the father shows up he needs to answer to his son a lot of question and something about her mother and I think it will be difficult. I know the father is innocent but I can't stop questioning myself why when he knows the news of her death he didn't look for his friend the ml, and the ml is not selfish is trying to protect the child is true that we don't approve but looking at the situation if the mother of the child father know that he has a son with will happen , that is not a problem the ml has pawer .and prom the prospective of the ml the feel as is he's the one at fault that kill her sister because he shows his friend to her, and that gives him the power to protect the last thing her sister left and for the father Gary he needs pawer to overthrow her mother before espousing her identity to the son.
