Of the stories I read in this godforsaken genre.... the actual canon of the story is perfect for another story to turn it into an isekai
Like the relationship hang ups Paula has with her deceased siblings that appear throughout the story where we never actually see there faces, I could totally see a young woman with her own sibling baggage reincarnating to one of the faceless younger siblings and being 'I am going to save my sister through my revolutionary knowledge!'
Anyone feeling particularly empathetic towards her sibling issues and loose around traffic?
Yes and no. Sure I wish things would have been different for her and her siblings, but her sister has no redeemable qualities and she was given chances to change. She didn't. Her life up till now was bad but it doesn't justify her behavior. And yeah Paula is feeling guilty as some older siblings do, but I think she deserves more than just her sister leeching off of her for the rest of her life. So, nah, Alicia had it coming.
I read the novel and got way past this part so this is just my personal opinion.
I hear yah but I am not talking bout Alicia, I am talking that in another story someone from our world would be isekaid into one of the littlest kids that have already died as part of her back story
