From what I've seen, the light novels aren't anywhere online (to be read that is) so your best bet would be to just purchase them, hence that's why I did since I couldn't find anywhere to read them for free.

If you're looking to buy the manga and light novels for cheap, well most sites like Barnes & Noble, Book Depository, and even Kinokuniya sell each volume around $13 which is usually the standard price. If there's a sale going on you might be able to get it for a dollar or two cheaper. Also with Kinokuniya they have a "membership price" which is a littler cheaper than their "online price".

As far as where to buy merch, I love CDJapan. They have a shit ton of merch from things like collectable figurines, keychains, pins, posters, apparel, etc. However the downside to buying from them is most of their items are no longer in stock so....if you wanted to buy something from them that's no longer in stock they would "redirect you" to another seller. Honestly it's a bit difficult to explain so if what I said confused you, I'd recommend going to their site and checking it out yourself. Oh and another downside from buying from them is the cost. Depending on where you are and what shipping method you choose, it can be a lot JUST for shipping, so just fyi.

And I haven't really seen any good Shin Soukoku fics/DJ's, at least on mangago I haven't. You could always search on other manga sites and I'm sure you'll find something ¯_(ツ)_/¯
