He’s had problems expressing and feeling emotions pretty much all his life also the relationship was never established (until now) since in Dohus mind this is all for his comic.

Although we were only shown a glimpse of his past, it was established that he was anti-social and does not show emotions regardless if directed to himself or to others/lack empathy. People are not automatically like that; they either have past experiences that made them have a hard time feeling emotions or it's attributed to brain factors (e.g. activity, pattern, etc.). Idk why some people are calling him manipulative when we all know he (1) does not feel emotions easily; (2) lacks social cues as seen in chapter 1 onwards. Idk about yall but Dohu having this character makes the story more interesting and dynamic.

huh! tbh I forgot some of his past because I read those parts so long ago and I'm reading loads of other stories. But this was a good refresher, thank you. I can imagine others have forgotten too!
This part of his personality reminds me of another BL manwha called Rivalry. People were similarly upset about ML's actions + words but they fleshed out why he was acting that was pretty explicitly later on. But before getting to that part...it was rough lol
