It's probably the typical female lead gets the hot -would make a cute uke- guy hate. Usually they ship him with another guy. Very rarely a different girl. Either way it's because she gets the Kaneki D. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I mean, She's already with Kankei and they love each other. There's nothing we small fishies in the crowd can do.

They hate her because she gets in the way of their ship, notice she is the only character with hate blogs on tumblr and notice she is almost always hated by fujoshis!
They try to make up excuses because they know hating someone over a ship is stupid as fuck. So they say she is abusive, but these same people have no problem drawing fanart of her getting abused, they also forget about Japanese culture and forget the target audience of the series, not realizing the so called abuse which only happens a few times is almost always used for slap stick. And while it is understandable given Kaneki's own abuse they tend to also conveniently forget what Tsukiyama did to him, or Ayato or Mutsuki or Arima. They laugh at 240 but conveniently forget that his existence is a direct result of what he suffered from Arima, they call it a joke but hate on Touka slap stick anyway.

Look at those people saying Rize treated Kaneki better! How? She is the reason his life got more fucked in the first place. Oh! Because she gave him advice in chapter 159, yeah that was not Rize that was Kaneki's own consciousness, his side he always associated with his ghoul self, he always gave Rize that face. Rize herself is not apart of him, and even if you say Rize told him things only she knew, go back to chapter 101, Furata told Kaneki most of this already, so yeah still not really Rize, unless you are just another angry shipper upset over your selfcest ship not happening.
They claim her lack of development which they again conveniently ignore that actually happen, but never get angry at Arima, or Hide, or Rize or Eto among others for going through no development at all. They say she is useless but forget she is the reason Kaneki is alive anyway among other characters, like Tsukiyama, Hide etc. They say she forced herself on Kaneki but ignore the fact that Kaneki was dominant throughout most of chapter 125 and could have stopped anytime and pushed off Touka but decided not to. They say she tied him down with a baby but forget that Kaneki was also responsible for the baby's conception anyway. They say she is just for sex but ignore how much emotional support she is to Kaneki and others, her leading the weaker ghouls to safety or atleast trying, making Kaneki do something about the food situation of the 24 yard or even that she could translate the underground dialect which saved everyone alot of time.
They hate her because she was cold to Kaneki in the beginning but forget that not only did she try to help him, but he refused her help and then insulted her and her race afterwards, Touka was a bitch to Kaneki but she didn't do it for no reason at all. And while some people might not get angry at being insulted after trying to help a complete stranger others will not look the other way. And of course people calling her a mary sue or saying the romance came out of no where, I won't even get into. My comment is already too long and if I know your typical hater they won't read all of this anyway. But my answer to them is read the manga again without your shipping glasses.
People who hate her type of character for being cold and her brashness, i get, I know they exist even though they appear to be rare or do not tell the whole world they hate her, or even waste their time creating blogs about something they hate (which i still don't get! I mean making a blog for something you love is one thing, what you love makes you happy, but making a blog about something you hate! Something that upsets you?) And anyone can hate what they want but when your hate goes as far as telling the creator to go kill himself over a fucking fictional character they you need to seriously reevaluate your life. No form of fiction should warrant the death of anyone, you can hate what who want but some of these people take it to the extreme! Going as far as burning the manga and the merchandise when the author already has your money or worst your parents money in his pocket instead of just selling what can be sold seems like a huge waste.
People can hate Touka all they want, but when their reason for hating her can also be applied to many other characters in the series (other characters they love) then they just come off as hypocrites and it becomes very hard to to take them seriously and tiresome to see their constant whining. If they hate something over a ship then just say so, instead of making up stupid reasons that can be easily debunked. It makes them look even more pathetic when they try to justify it.

Preach my friend!! You're really hit the nail..but seriously to the point of creating hate page/blog over a character that they dislike..that's so ridiculous! It's sad..like they are not respecting the author hard work..

I'm getting so tired of slapstick comedy and tsunderes getting called abusive, problematic, etc. Especially when a lot of the time it's just used as an excuse to bash a ship or character.

This is a comment board, people have the right to question your comments. That's one of the main reasons for a comment board. So, why do you hate her? What has she done that warrants your hate?
She just destroyed her hands tearing apart kagune that is stronger than steel and probably just had a miscarriage (not 100% sure). People will continue to hate her regardless. Which is unfortunate because she's a good character

Ok so the fact that you are only using whatever happened this chapter doesn't make her the greatest person, the fact why I hate Touka is for a different matter, but the fact that every person in the comment section does nothing but get too defensive and or offensive which, in the first place, makes everyone else uncomfortable and just not want anything to do with it. So, the thing is, I am sure you don't exactly mean it, but the fact that you're questioning people's way of thinking and perspective on things makes you a hypocrite. I get it, this is a comment board where people do that and stuff, but the thing that all of you are doing wrong is making people feel bad for thinking that way. Why is me hating touka wrong? Why is you liking her the only right way? That, is what I don't understand

I don't attack anyone who hate her...you can hate her...but I just want to understand.. Why would people hate her to the point creating hate page/blog, burn the manga just because she is with kaneki...I don't summarise touka Base on current chapter, but as a whole...so if you're triggered by this I'm sorry but help me to understand it...why?...
