I've been seeing it too much lately, it's always the lighter haired female lead x Darker Haired male leads, and usually it's black-haired.

FOR ME, it's getting repetitive and typical. Of course, it's natural since it might related to what their CHARACTERISTICS are or what kind of character they are.

But woah, even though the female lead lives in a slums, she still has her luscious, lavishing white/pink/blonde hair. Yet they're said to be an ordinary person amongst living with black haired/brunettes people.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against them (even though I sound like I have something against them) It's just sometimes ridiculous. I want to see something and out of the usual stuff.

We don't often get a lot of tanned, black haired FEMALE lead, and when we do, the plot usually follows "This world is unfamiliar with tanned people, especially mixed with a black hair. It's the worse combination to go with." I'm talking about a specific manga but I don't remember.

I don't OPENLY discuss this with a lot of people since I know I'm gonna get bombarded with stuff like "you are a fool for deciding if you want to read it or not based on their hair color" or "That's utterly ridiculous, you shouldn't judge a book based on their characters hair color"

But it's just me though, that's just my opinion. At least I don't go around literally FORCING people not to like these repetitive and typical character designs because I know a lot of us have different things we like to read, and I leave it be. Maybe a one star or there, but other than that, I just ignore and move on.
