Ok sooo I’m pretty sure I made this comment bfr but I’ll say it again! I do believe the boy’s family was unfortunately targeted by the Black Death. Judging by the memory of his brothers reaction to seeing the cross I want to say it could have been the brother that was involved with them and got that target put on his family’s back HOWEVER I also believe that tera and joris brother weren’t in the group at that time…if we look back we know the Black Death was already established when Tera and joris brother were teens because they dropped out of school and joined so I think maybe the accident with the boys family happened before they joined or maybe early on when they were fresh in the group.
I was just thinking this exact same thing.... If we go back, I vaguely remember Tera expressed not finishing school. Also, I think the author said the boy is 17 currently (?- I'm too tired to fact check that). So what was Tara up to 7 years ago, when the boy was 10?
you are correct. tera is 23 and dropped out of school to join the black death when he was 16 (7 years ago...) it's pretty obvious what's happening here.
I’d like to point out that Icarus has been uploading chapters since august of last year…and has never disappointed us and has been consistent for well over a year….so why would you (happy smiler) want to jump in and upload over them…and your also uploading the same chapters that are already there and now you’re throwing readers off please there’s so many stories that have been dropped that you can pick instead of ruining this story for us.
Actually Icarus is the one uploading the same chapter, all happysmiler is doing is just uploading the chapters after it, but ofc Icarus being as petty as they're is gonna keep uploading the same chapters instead of uploading the next which is the actual reason the readers are thrown off
I see, however my main point still stands. The story was perfectly fine with icarus and their consistent updates, happysmiler coming in and uploading over them for no reason and causing this much conflict in very unnecessary
