Everyone talking about incest (which this story is not, incest only happens when blood is related, plus the 2 boys were never raised as siblings, but I digress) forget to remember that kinda the same premise is in the uber famous shojo manga Marmalade Boy. But no one cried "incest" then, even when the characters themselves tackled the same problem at some point in the story (resolving it with no issues because it's fiction, of course). It kinda gives hom0ph0bic vibes in here. The only difference here is the stepbrother; which yes, it is strange and I don't know why the author went this route but I guess this is her story *shrugs*
