In the beginning, Euihyun wants to kill, FUCKING KILL himself along with the kid because of how terrible his world is, how awful life as an omega is, and because of his debt. Then along comes Taeju, who not only feels no pity for him, but takes advantage of him as if Euihyun were just an object. He doesn't care about him as a person.He fucking RAPES him.
I don't care if the author makes Taeju feel sorry for what he's done, the classic redemption arc, since their whole relationship started like that!
The point is, I'm not even mad at the manga itself now.
What's truly alienating and disturbing is the reader's response. It’s insane to watch people completely rewrite the story, wipe away the assault, and act as if this were just some 'rocky start' to a sweet love story. Seeing a whole fandom celebrate a dynamic born out of pure violation is just fucking disgusting.

you put it to words perfectly.. i tolerated the story at first because some of the scenes i used as a self insert situation but it got too violent for me and i really couldnt take it when he was threatened to be trafficked.. it's not real, we get that. but that doesnt mean people should just pretend this story isnt absolutely insane??!?!? if youre gonna be open about liking this at least be self aware

I'm only at ch 5 and i decided to come check out the comments cause this is crazy, only to see people defending it and condemning the people who call out how absolutely asinine this story is!? Why is this the main plot of most of these stories. Gangster stories work without extreme violence and RAPE. If you like fiction like this fine, whatever but why are we cursing and yelling at people pointing out how crazy this plot is?

I like that the art has kind of glowed up in a sense (rendering ecc) but I better liked the faces and body proportions of the characters at the beginning of the manhwa.

I'm at chapter 17, but I don't think I will keep reading this. The thought about the pink haired guy falling in love with a rapist (no matter what redemption arc he might have or whatever) is truly disgusting.
The fact that he blushes while looking at his rapist sleeping made me guess that the seme getting screwed up won't become reality, and that they will become lovers.
It really sickens me to my gut.
This is truly good for what I read until now. I like how the toxicity of the prince is portraied for what it is: something cold and egoistic.
