Hey there! I'm so sorry for the late reply.
Will you be TLing traditional or simplified Chinese?

To those who applied for the PR position on 15 January and onwards, I'm very sorry to say that a lot of people have applied and we are no longer accepting PR applications.

Hi there! Thank you for offering!
Lots applied but damn, simple errors in their request made me decide to message you and one other lmaooo. I feel like an interviewer now.
Back to business, before I give you the test, I have to let you know. English proofreading isn't just about grammar and spelling. You have to be able to change vocabulary to better ones where applicable and that's not the hard part yet.
As a PR, your job is to give the reader a better reading experience. That means changing sentence structures. Translations are often deeply influenced by raws, that makes sentences pretty much odd/awkward. The PR's job is to connect them and break their connection with the raws to make them seem like they were written in English to begin with. All that... without altering the meaning by a large margin. Translations with weird sound effects that doesn't make sense should be paid attention too as well.
Language errors aside, translators sometimes make mistakes as well. Or if they're not skilled enough, they can get stuff wrong. That is where you come in. Other that paying attention to language errors, you have to pay attention to the story context as well. If something doesn't make sense to you, never hesitate to inquire.

Damn that was long. I hope this isn't too much to take in. Our team takes quality very seriously and Warehouse is very important to us seeing how it was the project that brought the very first members together xD
I'll place the test here:

Best of luck,
Yukio~

May I take the same test? I’m also interested in the offering.

Hey, saw that you needed an english proofreader for WAREHOUSE, I would love to do it. My english isn't 100% perfect but it's still pretty damn good.
