Sooyoung tell himself he'll just go once to make sure Jihwan is OK, but after witnessing how bad Jihwan mental health is doing, he will rationalize everything in his head and decide to stay with Jihwan in the end. Is it love? Probably not. But it seems that's where its headed.

I normally pay to read this on Lexhin but the author pmo so much I said at least let me read it here and just try to ignore the annoying plot line with the grandma. But turns out it's still hard to stomach no matter what I do. It's like the whole story is tainted now. I keep trying to focus on Siwoo's romance but Byul just looks like a brat now and dumbass Dojin opening his mouth to spew that bullshit in the car just pmo all over again. I rarely feel spiteful in situations like these, and don't get me wrong, I don't want MC to get hurt, but his attitude here really pmo. Jumping to conclusions and believing things without properly fact checking. Honestly, Shirayuki is a better person than me because I would been like "aight, say less." After Haruki acted like that toward me. I really dislike friends who throw away their other friends the second they meet someone new because you know after the honeymoon phase wears off or whatever, they'll end up running back to you. They take your friendship for granted. And like, I understand Haruki may be insecure, but it's the lack of trust he showed toward Shirayuki compared to some guy he JUST met.
I know a lot of ppl were looking forward to a chasing arc, but I'm glad to see Jaekyung show up so soon. I've never been a fan of chasing arcs because I feel like it's too much of a waste of time an unecessary angst. Plus. Then it starts to feel like those miscommunication tropes and I just get tired like "Ugh, can they just meet up already and resolve things?" Like, I'm glad the author did not drag this out too long and we didn't have Dan acting miserable for 20 more chapters when all he wants to do is be with Jaekyung and then have Jaekyung running up and down the map for him. The most important part to me is not so much the chasing, but the fact that Jaekyung now understands what it means to lose Kim Dan. I don't really care to see him grovel, I just want to see him treating Kim Dan right.

This chapter sort or proves the top's point? At first, I thought the Top was just being stupidly in denial (he is, but that's not all), but after hearing Kyuho's side of things and his version of a 'relationship' one does have to wonder who's more correct.
For Kyuho, although he had been "dating" other ppl before, he admits he did not really have any feelings for them. So, from a certain perspective, they were more sexual partners going through the motions than genuine lovers. They just happened to slap the label "boyfriends" onto it.
But for the top, for him, being in a relationship is more than just going through the motions, slapping a convenient label on it, and then calling it a day.
It's something that must include genuine connection and love for each other.
I think this is kind of an oldie term but, rather than fuck buddies or situationship, it would probably be more akin to "going steady". Thee stage our grandparents would consider that was more than being friends but less than being an official couple. Not only is it less crass than "fuck buddies" but it meets the satisfaction for what should be deemed the "pre-offical stage".
The main issue I see with the Top's way of thinking is that, while it makes sense to only want to go official if he's certain of his love for the person, he doesn't seem like he'd recognize love even if it killed him.
