It's not our fault. Yaoi has already been fetishizing gay people for so long and we all know that real relationships aren't like in the mangas.

you can't blame people because of their certain personality that isn't even negative. Being independent doesn't mean he's full of pride. They're not even in a relationship and you want him to accept his money?! Then it's more like he's selling himself! Being from different social class is something very important, suddenly getting attracted to someone from same gender is also very important to consider, you can't just say hurry up and date him! So think of it this way a guy reached out to you who is actually a smart person to begin with then he lied to you coz he has intentions then he suddenly said he will fix your problem by giving the things that you wanted to achieve by your own hardwork...what will you feel?

No I get all that. My point is it wasn’t his CHOICE to be a scholarship student. Pretty sure if he had had the option to pay for school, instead, he would have chosen NOT to be a scholarship student and chosen NOT have the burden of the overwhelming pressure of staying in the top 5 - 10 students. As a scholarship student he feels he cannot risk spending any time on anything except studying. Which means no friends, no relationships, no social life at all, nothing for himself. He can’t enjoy his youth because he is POOR and has to go to school by way of scholarship.

Well that's how this life is! Most people can barely afford school tuition and as a result they have to study more and hang out with others less. Choosing an easy way like accepting money from someone who's still a kid and immature and you're not even related to is not a good solution. Ji Wook's situation is temporary, he'll be a lawyer probably by the age of 26 or so, he has a bright future. Yes I get that it's not fair for him to live such a life, yet he's doing the right thing. Well if you think it through he can't just accept someone's money after the things that just happened and sorry for being rude but he did accept seungon as a friend they become close then suddenly confessed everything that seungon used him...so how can he accept the money of a person who secretly hurt him from the beginning and even if seungon said that he did mean what he said from jiwook that he likes jiwook...jiwook can't just accept the money or the scholarship of seungon coz if he accept it his ego will be hurt and unlike you jiwook is thinking much better coz after all he wants to achieve the scholarship by his hardwork not out of pity(sorry for being rude again) and if the same thing happened to you or even worst than jiwook's situation I'm sure you will not accept the money they offer too(not until if you really need it)

We get he’s prideful and wants to get by on his own but he’s a child with no resources of his own and no one to help him. He literally has no way of doing this alone. So if he doesn’t get the help from Seungeon he’ll have to get it from someone else, a stranger, which likely means a loan shark (not good) or the blond guy ( probably worse lol).
