although heejae is seeing whoever he lost in garam, this is because he never gave himself the chance to grieve and heal from the loss. i dont think he's using garam as a replacement, i think he loves garam for who he is, he just also happens to remind him of that person which is bringing those unhealed wounds back up to the surface. being with garam is forcing him to confront those wounds and deal with them head on which i think is a good thing. if he wants to be with garam then he will work through his trauma and i think he can do it. i think garam is the unstoppable force that will push the unmoveable object. i am rooting for them so fucking hard
