I love how the author is not forcing the miscommunication trope and our MC actually just gives Shuraka the time to be alone and doing his thing instead of dying of anxiety over not seeing his lover

Did we just forget about Kim Dan depressive episode and him being an alcoholic not so long ago? Why are now seeing them getting silly drunk together. It doesn't sit with me right and this scene would be just as cute without the alcohol in it. I thought we're past the phase where they have to be drunk to be affectionate :/

No, I think the scene was so show that he's slowly healing no? I know in reality for a rehab alcoholic it's not good tho and not as easy right? But it is nice symbolically

I feel it's gonna be a short story. I like their dynamic a lot, but I feel that all this emotional bonding happened way to fast.

agree so much omg, i think this would've been so good as a long manhwa. the pacing is just way too fast bc they had to cram a lot in very few chapters

I didn't really connect with our characters as much as other readers, but I still liked the story nonetheless!

I don't mind obstacles, they are both getting better at resolving conflict in a healthy way. There's gradually less drama even tho obstacles level is high as always. Its kinda comforting to read tbh

Reading it as a traumatized person from a very dysfunctional family hits different. It feels like the author is one of the few who actually understands how childhood trauma can affect your relationships, without polarizing to extremes. Reading Miyabi's thoughts and interactions with others is giving me flashbacks to my own behavior. I'm just glad author decided to create this masterpiece. Definitely will be among my all time favourites.
PS. If any trauma survivor is reading this. It's easy to give in to daydreams and ignore your life. But it's just a fiction. There is a VERY low chance that Haruto-like partner will spawn out of nowhere to fix your life, people are not like they seem in the beginning. Don't depend on love (too much, at least hahaha). Please take care of yourself, you're slowly getting where you want to be in life im sure. <3

My thoughts exactly. I know how hard it is to overcome the insecurities you’re left with as a traumatized child so I could only relate seeing Miyabi struggling. I feel like they kind of both have their reflags tho. This isn’t what I would call a healthy relationship, but it’s beautiful anyway. Too bad a hot rich alpha won’t show up to save us as you said but ig we can save this for entertaining readings at least <3
