I'm so disappointed with how they undermine Hyesung and think too little about the pain and trauma he's gone through from the abandonment. No words can explain how much I hate Dojin right now! He is such a bastard for secretly going behind Hyesung's back; he's unworthy of trust anymore! How could he brush off the issue like that as if it's a trivial matter when Hyesung cried countless of times in front of him because of that witch.

Your mom have already heard about your snake grandma's part of the story. She told him herself! She went with another man and made a new family. Didn't bother to disclose the existence of the child she left behind, or to even have the care to check on him while he was living with his abusive father when he was very young. And, many years later she finally had the gall to see him just because she saw on that news that that very son that she had abandoned made did big by marrying a rich celebrity (trying to recover a familial relationship over bcuz of that--if that's not what you call being opportunistic, then idk anymore).
By the way, while she was trying to explain herself she even shamelessly blamed her own son (your mom) for not searching for her when he was obviously too young and poor to afford doing that. Also, your mom left his parent's house eventually because he couldn't take it any longer to live with your evil grandpa. He had nothing and no one to depend on - only himself. He struggled so hard to make ends meet and to survive ALL BY HIMSELF, so how could he seriously have the time to look for a witch who didn't even give him any contact info. She clearly didn't want to be sought for.
The witch had many chances to check on her son before, but she refused to do so. She basically never intended to get him back, but YOUR MOM is different. He was barely 21 years old at that time when he had you, but he bravely chose you over everything! He was scared so there was a time when he wanted to escape, but hey, he came back all because of YOU! He may be inexperienced but he did what he thinks is best for you as he didn't want you to experience the same thing that happened to him in this life.
Watching you grow up, I saw how loved you are by everyone most especially by your mom. You can also see it with your own eyes -- how he defends you even when you're wrong and continuously supports you on your every whims and adventure. He's always there in every moment of your life, willingly and joyfully.
It really hurts how you took your snake grandma's side over your own mama and how you compared them. Believe me when I say that they're miles different from each other. One chose to abandon her child with no intention of getting him back, and the other one,while not very confident at first but made sure that he will fully compensate his children with love and support forever.
Please say you're sorry to your mom and don't ever see the witch ever again.

The way he took away the phone was plainly being disrespectful. He may be concerned, but he saw that Rin was happy talking to the phone with Yamato. And him taking it away just because he's jealous was just way too off. They're friends but doing something like that isn't admirable, it's annoying, especially since there seemed to be nothing wrong with the phone call.
