i hope that they don’t become endgame, i truly think the story would be perfect. geonpil is a selfish human being because he grew up with nothing, he’s selfish because he finds it unbearable to be lonely.
i think when geonpil had sex with him, he KNEW what he was doing. he knew how yeonsang felt and ignored it completely to keep his belly full and his balls empty. it’s literally insane when beom says, “what’s my favorite color” and geonpil can’t remember but a couple moments later, he remembers the age of an old dog (and it’s birthday) that he doesn’t even OWN. i think geonpil gave away the part of himself he doesn’t care about, because as the shaman states he’s a “sinner”, he didn’t give yeonsang his care or his feelings or his heart. he gave him something he gives to everyone, something he knew was important to yeonsang.
i love this story. the characters are SO interesting and dynamic. you see why they’re the way they are, but you are also showed their faults and what make them gullible, or evil, or selfish.
i hope beom is released and put to rest. his constant hunger is so sad to read.
