Astrid is an interesting character. As a concept, I like her. However, I can't stand how she treats Chamuka and Tan especially when you see how fondly she treats Leticia. THOSE ARE YOUR BIOLOGICAL CHILDREN AND THEY'RE STILL YOUNG. They might not be able to properly express their feelings, but there isn't nothing in there. They're innocent. Tbh, I think she's worse with emotions than they are. She's hating on them for a curse she knowingly birthed them into. Give all the children to me. You don't deserve any of them. Leticia deserves a better mentor too

And the dad too let's be honest. He couldn't have anyone secretly check on his son and send him reports. I get he's in a difficult position but nobody checked on him for all these years and he's JUST A KID !!!!
His weak position as a ruler turned him into a bad father despite his affection. It's a shame. The father and the prince have adopted something close to a learned helplessness.
